The videos were made in the same style - first-person action. In an interview, the director said that Timur Bekmambetov gave him the idea to make such a film. As a result, he became one of the producers of the tape. For Naishuller, the picture was his debut in a full-length movie. The role of Jimmy went to Sharlto Copley, Akana to Daniil Kozlovsky. Haley Bennett played Henry's wife. In addition, Serhiy Shnurov, Konstantin Khabenskyi, Tim Roth, Yevhen Bazhenov, Leonid Parfyonov, Kyrylo Serebrennikov, Andriy Dementiev and others are also involved in "Hardcore".
