"Strong as death, love, cruel as hell, jealousy..." Buzya is an abbreviated name: Ester-Liba, Libuzya, Buzya. She was as beautiful as Shulamith from the Song of Songs. She's a year or two older than Shimek, but that doesn't matter. To rise from Buzey with the help of a cable over the horizon, to the very clouds, and even further, far, far, beyond the ocean - this was Shimek's most cherished childhood dream. But something always got in the way: it was time to go to the synagogue, mother called for dinner, father would not let him go further than the little bridge in front of the forest, Buzya laughed at him. Now everything is different, both of them are not yet twenty. Buzya is already a bride, but not his, but someone else's.
