Sculptor Oleksandr has a hard time coping with the death of his wife. Natalka, the sister of the deceased, who is unrequitedly in love with him, helps him in the household. When Oleksandr hires a wounded soldier, musician Tolya, he doesn't feel so lonely. But with the appearance of Ima, a refugee from Iraq, the men's friendship comes to an end, and Natalya is overcome by jealousy.
