Play musical comedy based on Dmitriy Shostakovich's operetta "Moscow - Cheryomushki" on the theme of the eternal "apartment question". The young architect Lida Baburova got an apartment in a new district of Moscow and came with her father to inspect the new apartment. Just before their eyes, one of the walls of the apartment is collapsing. This is the head of a trust, a resident of a new building, who decided to increase the area of his apartment, at the whim of his young wife... The tape became the leader of the USSR box office in 1963 - then it was viewed by 28.8 million viewers.
