The Personal History of David Copperfield

David Copperfield was born in London in those years when there was a little bit of everything there - poverty and wealth were very close, elite areas bordered the poor, and every person tried to survive in this world as best he could. The boy does not remember his father, and his mother died when he was still very young. The orphan had to cling to every chance in his life to avoid being thrown into some garbage dump. Fate always led him to incredibly interesting people, each of whom contributed their part to the formation of David's personality.
