Normandy, 1985. The Cure is playing on the beach, and Alex is sure that his whole life is ahead of him: he graduates from school and does not yet know what he wants to do next, but he knows for sure that he wants to be happy. His boat gets caught in a storm, and Alex is saved from death by a new acquaintance. They quickly become close, swear to each other to dance on the grave of the one who will say goodbye to life first, because at 18 years old it seems that this time will never come. But will their friendship survive at least one summer?
