The story of TV presenter Chris Masterson, whose career is in tatters and life is turned upside down when he is stranded in a small town in the Australian outback after a car accident. There he meets 11-year-old Leah, who opens him up to the world of wildlife and teaches him to appreciate the truly important things. Together, they undertake to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned baby kangaroos.
