Yegor, a 35-year-old man, one of the tourists, looks carefully at the picture in which several people, in whose hands are either tambourines and pipes, or shields and spears, surrounded a strange creature with the body of a man and the head of a dog. The guide continues to talk monotonously about the holidays, about the razhenits and buffoons, about the birth of the theater in Ancient Russia. Egor looks into the fierce dog's face.
